AGS has designated seasoned gaming sector attorney, Robert Blair, as their latest Associate General Counsel.
Blair comes to AGS from Aruze Gaming, where he occupied several high-level legal roles. This transition arises as Aruze Gaming has been reorganizing, divesting portions of its operations to entities like Interblock and Play Synergy.
Blair contributes over twenty years of expertise to AGS, having formerly served as a patent lawyer and in intellectual property management capacities. His proficiency will be indispensable to AGS as it persists in developing and broadening its selection of slot machines, table games, and alternative casino offerings.
Rob Ziems, AGS’ Chief Legal Officer, conveyed his assurance in Blair’s aptitude to add to the company’s achievements, emphasizing his extensive understanding of corporate and patent legislation.
In his capacity as Assistant General Counsel, Blair will be responsible for a variety of legal affairs. This encompasses collaborating closely with fellow executives to ensure corporate compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Blair joins the company during a period of international expansion for AGS. Their recent Q2 2023 earnings report showcased the availability of their offerings in 29 states across the US, 4 Canadian provinces, and even a foray into one foreign market. AGS intends to further broaden its clientele, particularly targeting larger enterprises.
To facilitate this global growth trajectory, AGS will be undertaking strategic choices regarding its worldwide operations, aiming for a smooth implementation of its EGM deployments throughout the remainder of 2023.
