The Los Angeles-based Angel City Football Club (ACFC) has teamed up with Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel, designating Yaamava’ as the team’s official gaming partner. This collaboration extends beyond a standard sponsorship arrangement; it represents a dedication to the young people of the Inland Empire area in Southern California. ACFC and Yaamava’ will jointly organize soccer programs and sessions aimed at uplifting children through athletics and learning.
This alliance introduces the Angel City Sponsorship Model, a distinctive strategy where each corporate partnership directly advantages the Inland Empire community. Commencing in ACFC’s first season in 2022, the agreement features a unique VIP game day event for a local youth squad from the Inland Empire. Furthermore, ACFC trainers will conduct a soccer workshop in San Bernardino for 150 young athletes between the ages of 7 and 14, concentrating on both skill development and individual growth.
“Yaamava’ Resort & Casino is delighted to unveil our partnership with Angel City Football Club,” remarked Rikki Tanenbaum, Chief Executive Officer for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. “The Tribe is dedicated to collaborating with groups that align with our principles, and ACFC’s objective to bolster the Southern California community by empowering young individuals and cultivating inclusivity strongly resonated with us.”
Jessica Smith, the head of revenue for the Angel City Football Club, expressed her enthusiasm for the new collaboration, saying, “We’ve been eager to share this partnership with Yaamava’ and are delighted to have them as a Founding Partner. Angel City is dedicated to creating positive change in the Los Angeles region and further. Collaborating with Yaamava’ allows us to broaden that community influence into the Inland Empire, beginning with our distinctive youth programs.”
