The British Columbia Lottery Organization (BCLC) is seeking a new head honcho! Following Jim Lightbody’s departure in December 2021, the search has been on for a permanent successor. Lynda Cavanaugh has been steadily steering the ship in the meantime, but the quest for a long-term captain continues.
They’re not simply seeking any CEO, however. BCLC desires a true trailblazer, an individual who can cultivate a spirit of teamwork and creativity. Imagine unconventional approaches and a talent for transforming concepts into tangible outcomes. Naturally, a history of spearheading transformation and delivering achievements is essential – BCLC has ambitious aspirations for the future of gaming in British Columbia. They’re in search of someone who grasps the shifting dynamics of leadership and can guide the organization toward a future brimming with thrilling prospects.
We are excited to start looking for our next Chief Executive Officer. This person will expand upon BCLC’s history and lead our organization to greater success, always prioritizing the well-being of our patrons and stakeholders,” stated Greg Moore, Head of BCLC’s Board of Directors.
“Our perfect applicant is a forward-thinking executive who embodies our principles and dedication to societal good. They will cooperate closely with the Board and senior management to foster a supportive, fair, and diverse environment for our staff and throughout the sector.”
The quest for applicants will commence on March 17, 2022.
