The upcoming AffiliateCon Sofia, initially planned for May 12-13 in Sofia, Bulgaria, has been delayed because of the COVID-19 outbreak. Julian Perry, the event’s creator, conveyed his regret, stating that this year’s gathering, two years in development, was poised to significantly advance AffiliateCon’s standing within the iGaming sector, with numerous companies already on board and a large number of affiliates enrolled.
The choice to reschedule stems from Bulgaria’s announcement of a state of emergency extending until April, combined with travel limitations placed on employees by many iGaming and affiliate marketing firms. With the coronavirus situation escalating into a global pandemic, postponing the event became essential.
Nevertheless, affiliates can still anticipate insights from some of the speakers originally slated for this year’s event. AffiliateCon will conduct a virtual conference on May 12, 2020, with specifics to follow shortly.
The AffiliateCon team expresses regret for any disruptions and is dedicated to making the subsequent year’s event even more substantial and impressive.
