Brilliant Sports has joined forces with the Argentine Premier League to create a thorough strategy for integrity and official data.
Brilliant Sports’ integrity services will utilize its round-the-clock betting monitoring technology and conduct a series of educational sessions to provide the Argentine Premier League with safeguards against match manipulation and betting-related corruption.
“Guaranteeing the transparency of our matches is a top priority for the Premier League,” stated Mariano Elizondo, President of the Argentine Premier League. “Our objective is to ensure that all teams adhere to the same regulations in every match, which is a crucial requirement for delivering fans and sponsors with the thrilling contests they anticipate.”
“Collaborating with a global leader like Brilliant Sports enables us to work together to combat any threat to the transparency of our matches using the same tools employed by the most prestigious leagues in global football.”
Premier League players, coaches, officials, and administrators will also receive training to identify and report suspicious incidents.
This arrangement enables the Super League to oversee the distribution and utilization of its official data by pinpointing unauthorized observers within stadiums and by detecting and re-appropriating unofficial data streams.
“Argentine football is presently at a pivotal juncture in its evolution, with notable advancements fueled by enhanced data quality and accessibility,” stated Fernando Martinez, Director of Business Alliances, Latin America, at Genius Sports.
“This collaboration with the Super League establishes a standard for leagues throughout Latin America to proactively safeguard the integrity and future of their competitions, while managing the collection, administration, and dissemination of their real-time data.”
This agreement is the most recent in a series of contracts signed by the provider in recent months. In July, Genius Sports joined forces with the German Football Association to introduce a novel integrity program in Germany.
The firm also expanded its existing agreement with the International Basketball Federation and forged new alliances with the Bulgarian Football Association and the Ladies Professional Golf Association.
