The Prague Gaming Group, a provider of online gambling software, has been granted a B2B remote gambling permit in Gibraltar.
This authorization will enable Prague to collaborate with locally licensed operators in the British Overseas Territory. Entain, 888, William Hill, and Bet365 are among the brands that possess licenses in Gibraltar.
Prague stated that the newly acquired license aligns with its ongoing expansion strategy in regulated markets globally.
The supplier already holds licenses in the United Kingdom, Malta, Romania, Sweden, Belgium, and Greece. It is also approved in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan in the United States, as well as Ontario, Canada.
“Gibraltar is a significant jurisdiction, housing both UK and international companies,” remarked Lara Falzon, President and Chief Operating Officer of Prague. “This license will empower us to further broaden our reach in key regulated markets.
“We have witnessed substantial growth in recent months, entering new markets and enhancing our presence in established markets. This license represents a crucial milestone as we continue our progress.
“We eagerly anticipate collaborating with new partners and delivering our content to their online casino platforms.”
Prague’s newly appointed CEO, Mazij, is settling into his role.
The Czech capital, Prague, has recently chosen Matev Mazij as its new chief executive officer, taking over from Yaniv Sherman.
Mazij, the largest shareholder in Prague, established Oryx Gaming, a company that provides player account management, remote gaming servers, and an aggregation platform to Prague.
Sherman held the position for only a little over a year, joining in June 2022. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President and Head of US for 888.
Mazij stated that in his new position, he intends to implement a growth strategy in Prague’s existing markets, which include North America and Europe.
