Logrand Entertainment Group’s Mexican online wagering and gaming brand, Strendus, has inked a new sponsorship agreement with Spain’s premier football league, LaLiga.
Strendus will serve as LaLiga’s official sponsor in Mexico for the next three years.
This arrangement will ensure compliance with recent Spanish legislation that prohibited sports clubs from entering into advertising agreements with gambling operators.
Clubs were required to terminate their Spain-facing agreements at the conclusion of the 2020-21 season and were barred from forging new partnerships.
LaLiga oversees the top tier of professional football in Spain.
“This accord will enable us to draw closer to our supporters in Mexico, sharing the fervor of LaLiga hand in hand with Strendus, celebrating and savoring LaLiga in diverse events,” remarked Boris Gartner, CEO of LaLiga North America.
“We have been engaging with passion for numerous years and sharing that passion with the audience — we are proud to now be able to share it with Strendus consumers as well.”
Logrand Entertainment Group’s digital operations head, Lenin Castillo, expressed, “We are delighted to witness the enthusiasm from our brand patrons and soccer enthusiasts. We have successfully introduced this program for them, and they will shortly observe more advantages from the league and our platform.”
