XLMedia, a major player in the affiliate industry, recently sold off some of its European gambling holdings for a hefty $4 million.
They divested Casino.se, Casino.gr, and Casino.pt, which were targeted at Sweden, Greece, and Portugal. These websites were acquired by Beach Services.
These three websites generated approximately $840,000 in the year ending December 2022, representing about 6% of their European gambling revenue. They produced a profit of around $750,000.
XLMedia states they remain in the gaming industry in Sweden and other European nations, even after this transaction.
They plan to utilize the funds from the sale to maintain smooth operations and invest in expanding their business. They are particularly focused on growing their sports and gaming operations in North America and bolstering their European portfolio.
An XLMedia representative expressed satisfaction with the deal, describing it as another significant victory for them. This follows the recent sale of their money-making venture for $2.1 million.
They sold off all their personal finance assets last month as part of their strategy to dispose of businesses that are not their primary focus.
XLMedia has offloaded its MoneyUnder30 website and web address for $675,000, signaling the completion of a process that commenced in December 2022. They declared they were in discussions to sell their personal finance division as part of a restructuring endeavor.
XLMedia is now concentrating on sports and gaming, including expanding their North American sports operations and refining their European sports lineup and gaming holdings.
The sale of MoneyUnder30, in conjunction with the sale of DoughRoller and other previously disclosed divestments, has generated $2.1 million for XLMedia.
